What is blue light teeth whitening?
"Power Whitening" (blue light) – is a quick, and the most effective method for whitening teeth. Today, there are many different teeth whitening systems on the market and teeth whitening results vary according to the strength of their whitening gels (bleach) and lenses. Treatment times also differ from one hour (mostly used in dental practices) to 30 minutes.

At Sunset Teeth Whitening Clinic – use the very latest 30 minute laser teeth whitening technology which has allowed us to successfully help thousands of people achieve their brightest smiles instantly and at a fraction of the dentist price.
How long will the treatment take?
Treatment takes just 30 minutes.
What’s the difference between blue light (power whitening) teeth whitening and home whitening kits bought from the dentist or over the counter/ internet?
The traditional method of using home teeth whitening kits bought from your dentist or over the counter/internet requires you to insert trays into your mouth or stick pre-gelled strips onto your teeth night after night. Both these methods of teeth whitening take several weeks to work before you would notice any difference!

For most, results from home whitening kits can prove to be very frustrating and regular visits to the dentist simply aren't convenient or affordable. Cost £200-£600
What is the laser teeth whitening procedure at the Sunset Clinic and how does it work?
After a short consultation our specialists would show you where your teeth are on the whitening chart and also show you approximately how white your teeth would be after treatment. You would then lay back and relax while your gum and lip areas are fully protected. A tooth whitening gel would then be applied onto your teeth, and then cool blue laser light would be beamed at the mouth area only. This process accelerates the whitening gel to power whiten your teeth and remove years of staining while you would continue to relax, listen to some music and chill out!

Yes, chill out. In fact, it’s so relaxing often many people (under our supervision) "snooze off" during treatment! There are NO injections and there is nothing in the treatment that can hurt your teeth or your tooth enamel in anyway. Furthermore, there’s nothing in the treatment or procedure to make you say “Ouch”.
After 30 minutes you would simply rinse your mouth out thoroughly and go the mirror to see your new brighter smile.
There are NO injections or needles to worry about, and the cool blue light is not like what you would see in a James Bond movie! It’s just a warm U.V free light that speeds up the process (power whitening) of removing the stains on your teeth and is totally harmless.
How much does teeth whitening at The Sunset Clinic cost?
During this special offer period a full teeth whitening treatment will cost just £99 and if there is more than one person, it will cost just £75.00 per person! We know it sounds ridiculous but we hope once you have experienced this quick "power whitening" treatment you will then recommend the Sunset Clinic to your family and friends!

Why are our prices so much lower then other dental clinics?
That’s because our highly experienced team work in a small, friendly, reputable clinic and specialise in just teeth whitening. Therefore, we’ve no expensive dental surgery to maintain and we pass on the savings to you making our teeth whitening treatment affordable for all during our special offer promotion time!
Similar blue light also known as laser" teeth whitening procedures with your dentist will cost you from £400 – £900 per person!
When does this Special Offer End?
Saturday 10th March 2012
If there is more than one person will we have to wait for each other?
No. You will all go into separate whitening rooms and get treated at the same time and also finish together to see each others results.
Will I need a consultation?
When you arrive for your appointment there will be free consultation during which you will be shown the full teeth whitening process. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have.
Will this teeth whitening treatment definitely work?
Yes, we have tested and continue to test all leading brands and you can be certain this teeth whitening service has the most effective combination of whitening gel and laser lens that can whiten teeth up to 14 shades!

If you have stained teeth the difference after treatment will be noticeable “instantly”.Truthfully though, if you already have very white teeth then you may not see a significant difference! However, if you have yellow or brown stains on your teeth especially on your side teeth (canines) or nicotine and tar stain build up in-between your front lower teeth, then this treatment will definitely make them fresh and white again.
Will I get the brightest possible results after just one treatment?
Yes, if your teeth are not heavily stained and are around 5 – 6 on the Vita teeth whitening chart then you can expect your teeth to be at their whitest in just one treatment.
If your teeth are more stained then 5 – 6 on the Vita shade chart, then you may need to repeat treatment to have them at their brightest. It really depends on individual cases and what caused the staining!
We often see patients who were charted at 10 – 11 (heavy) reach 1 – 2 in just one treatment! That’s why our specialist always show patients a guide during consultation as to how much whiter they can expect their teeth to be after laser treatment.

Mr. D our above test case was treated three times and improved his teeth whiteness by 18 shades on the Vita whiteness chart. Mr. D's first treatment cost £99, second and third cost just £49 each.
Total cost: £197!
Once registered with us and depending on your life style, you can repeat this treatment for just £49! (Monday – Friday) Our specialists will give you an honest opinion if they believe your teeth can whiten further for an even brighter smile.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes there is. We guarantee to use the most effective treatment available, and also the only one that does the whole tooth without leaving your edges stained. If you can find a treatment that is more effective (treatment for treatment) then we will happily not only refund your money in full, but we will also DOUBLE IT!
How often can I repeat the Sunset teeth whitening treatment?
You can repeat this treatment as often as your life style requires and does not damage your teeth in anyway. Repeat treatments within six months cost just £49!
Will I be offered a superior and a higher priced treatment then the advertised price?
No definitely not. We offer just one treatment which is the most effective and costs just £99 there are no further costs, and no sales talk of a more effective treatment for a higher price.
Will all my teeth be whitened?
We can whiten all your smile teeth that are accessible by the blue light.
Note: Blue light Teeth Whitening can not whiten the inside (back) of teeth as the light can not reach those areas and be effective.

In most cases we can whiten all your smile teeth and all the way back to your first/second molar teeth.

How long will my teeth stay white for?
That depends on your life style! If you drink lots of tea, coffee, cola, red wine, eat curry and smoke, then you may need to repeat this treatment every five to six months or so! If you do not have those habits and you look after your teeth well, then your teeth will stay whiter for at least a year or two!
We highly recommend you automatically repeat this treatment every five or six months to freshen up and keep your teeth looking at their whitest! Costs just £49 if you are inside six months of your last visit.
You can then also return every five to six months thereafter for the same price of £49 and continue to do so in the future!
What are the causes of tooth dis-colouration and staining?
-
Drinks (such as tea, coffee, red wine, cola) smoking habits are the main causes to staining and discolouration.
-
Aging
-
Anti-biotic medicines (tetracycline)
-
Trauma (injury) to the teeth.
-
Pulp (nerve degeneration)
-
Eating Pan (Asian flavoured chew)
Are there benefits to having a whiter smile?
Yes there are many. The main teeth whitening benefits are directly related to your appearance and self esteem. Taking the simple step of whitening your teeth will brighten your smile, which will in turn brighten your appearance and make you more attractive to other people. Also blue light whitening is the quickest way to improve your appearance.
The greatest benefits will be in your appearance and confidence. Not only will people view you in a different way, but you will also feel more confident, look more youthful and be more comfortable with your own appearance. Knowing that your teeth are beautiful and pleasant to look at will allow you to stop worrying about them and instead focus on things that matter.
As you become more comfortable with your new smile you will also experience a wider smile and laugh a lot more and become more comfortable in other areas. Being in new company will not be as difficult because you will know that you look good. You won’t be shy to smile and be more willing to enter conversation with a good-looking guy/girl at the supermarket or office. Overall you will feel more comfortable and enjoy talking with people in your every-day life.
Who will perform the teeth whitening treatment?
All our teeth whitening experts are highly experienced (with over 4000 treatments each) and are all certified. Also our team treat more patents and are more experienced in blue light (also known as laser) teeth whitening than any dentist around because that’s all they do all day long – just whiten teeth!
You can be 100% sure you’re in safe and very experienced hands.
When can I next brush my teeth?
We recommend gently brushing your teeth the next morning returning back to normal after.
How long after treatment can I eat and drink?
You can eat and drink straight away, but just avoid anything that can stain your teeth like tea, coffee, red wine, smoking, curry sauces and so forth for around 2-3 hours (also avoid citrus fruits in case it causes your teeth to become sensitive) after that time you may return to your normal life style.
With many other systems you have to avoid the above for 24 – 48 hours.
If I have a crown/cap, veneer or a filling can I still have this laser teeth whitening treatment?
Yes you can. All crowns, veneers and fillings can be restored to their original whiteness. The longer you have had them – the more they stained they get. However, they do clean up well and look fresh again.
I have had a crown/cap, veneer or filling fitted which is lighter then my natural teeth. Can you whiten my natural teeth so they match my crown/cap, veneer or filling?
Yes you can. Our specialists often achieve outstanding results by whitening teeth to match lighter fittings.
Will my natural teeth look odd against my crown, veneer or filling after the teeth whitening treatment?
If your crown/cap, veneer or filling is lighter than your natural teeth, then your natural teeth can be whitened to make a good match (this may require an additional treatment depending on the level of staining).
If your natural teeth are lighter than your crown/cap, veneer or filling, then as in most cases, you may not be able to create a good match.
Best solution: To get the best possible result we recommend you whiten your teeth to their brightest level and then consult your dentist to replace old crown/cap, veneer or filling with a new one that matches your new natural teeth whiteness.
If I’m having/replacing a crown/cap, veneer or filling which treatment should I have done first?
Always have your teeth whitened to their whitest first, and then you would be ready for your dentist to match your new whiteness with new fitting or filling. Following this advice will also keep your teeth evenly matched and return them to their very best when ever you repeat the whitening treatment.
Does the blue light treatment hurt?
No. There is nothing in the treatment to hurt you or make you say ouch!
During treatment some people do experience a slight tingling sensation which is not painful and disappears straight after treatment.
Can I choose the level of whiteness?
Before treatment, using a Vita whiteness chart our specialist will show you where your teeth colour is at present and will also give you a prediction to how white we expect your teeth to be after treatment. We always attempt to whiten teeth to their maximum whiteness possible. However, if you then choose not to be as white as our prediction, we can however lower the level of whiteness to your choice! (No one has yet requested us to do so)

Are there any side effects?
If there is anything about this teeth whitening treatment that may bother you after treatment, than this is the only side effect that may cause you some discomfort.
Most people including those who suffer from sensitive teeth do not experience any sensitivity after this treatment. However, some people do experience sensitivity on a tooth or on a few teeth after treatment. This sensitivity normally stops after a few hours. In extreme cases it may continue overnight. If you are worried about this, then we recommend you carry some suitable medicine such as Paracetamol or Neurephane just in case you need to use them.
Can this teeth whitening treatment damage my tooth enamel?
No. There is no danger of damaging your teeth or its enamel in anyway and is proven to be 100% safe.
Can I still have this treatment if I have receding gums?
In most cases it’s not a problem. If the receding is heavy we highly recommend that you consult your dentist first to check if you are suitable for a teeth whitening treatment.
Can tetracycline stains be removed from my teeth?
Tetracycline stains (greyish) from taking antibiotic medication can be greatly reduced, and in many cases be totally eliminated leaving your teeth to their natural whiteness. The final results depend on the level of staining and the period of time antibiotics were used for.
What is recommended for after care and do whitening tooth pastes work?
Our specialists recommend just normal Colgate tooth paste although we sell several tooth paste brands that cost £12 each! After testing many of the top tooth pastes brands, our specialists advise our patients to avoid wasting money on tooth paste products that claim to whiten your teeth or keep them white.
Think about it….if they were really that effective why would you be looking to laser whiten your teeth! When we find a tooth whitening paste that really works we’ll tell you about it.
Is there a minimum age?
Yes 16. Children under sixteen must have parents consent and be accompanied by a parent during treatment.
